Cognitive Existence Physics: Is a “Theory of Everything” Possible?
Notes on the Margins of M-Theory and Cognitive Phase Transition
Modern fundamental physics has found itself in a paradoxical stalemate. Attempts to construct the long-awaited “Theory of Everything” (M-theory) by unifying quantum mechanics and general relativity have hit a wall of mathematical brute force. Searching for an “objective” geometry of hidden six-dimensional Calabi-Yau spaces—supposedly existing on their own in absolute cold—classical science ended up with an overwhelming abundance: $10^{500}$ vacuum options. Physics froze “with its foot raised,” unable to choose a single correct coordinate system.
Cognitive Existence Physics offers a radical way out of this academic dead end, continuing the uncompromising line of Niels Bohr.
The Main Illusion: The Myth of a “Ready-Made Universe”
The primary error of classical determinism lies in viewing the Universe as an immutable, static stage where laws and mathematical “embeddings” are pre-arranged in drawers, simply waiting to be discovered.
We assert: outside the local interface of interaction, reality does not exist even in potential (Don’t Physics. Don’t Existence).
The Universe is not a frozen museum exhibit. It is a living, fluid, plastic ocean of pure amplitudes, entirely informationally indifferent until the moment of contact. The space of hidden parameters begins to “warm up,” structure, and condense into specific physical laws (whether it is the vibration of a string with spin 2 or the spark of a sense-morpheme in our thinking) exclusively at the point of shared calibration.
We Are Not Spectators—We Are Co-Creators
A “Theory of Everything” is possible, but not as a final static formula (Plusquamperfekt) that closes the process of knowing. It is possible only as a Theory of Evolutionary Adaptation and Flow.
Mathematical models, quantum algorithms, and high-dimensional spaces are not “absolute truths” dug out of the ground. They are complex, constantly evolving sense organs of our civilization. Just as a biological body once grew an eye to focus photons of chaos, our mind grows a mathematical apparatus to adapt and expand homeostasis.
The Universe flashes with the structured warmth of physical particles and living meanings exclusively within our interfacial imagination-existence. We are not passive spectators looking through a window at a pre-made stage. The window of our existence is the only place where this stage emerges at all.
Every time our cognitive toolkit evolves, we undergo a new phase transition—and the Universe immediately responds, crystallizing into new, previously non-existent forms of material and mental reality. Knowing has no end, because with each act of existential resonance, we make this plastic ocean more complex, more alive, and warmer
